I was sceptical about the filter, but it keeps every bit of grit out. Tested it with a medium-fine grind and got a perfectly clean cup. My morning routine is now just this straw and hot water.

Took it on a four-day bikepacking trip along the Maas. Fits right next to my spork in the handlebar bag. The coffee was honestly better than what I get from instant packets, and cleanup took about ten seconds.

As a bit of a coffee snob I was curious how it would compare to pour-over. It is not quite the same clarity, but for trail coffee it is remarkably good. No paper taste, no sediment. I would love a finer filter tip option.
